 Elaine Richter Bruce, 42, of Tifton died June 22, 2004 at Emory University 
Hospital in Atlanta.

 Born April 30, 1962 in Moultrie to Rev. Leroy and Mervin Perkins Richter of 
Moultrie, she was director of nurses at Beverly Health Care Services in Tifton. 
She received the Vera B. Doering Nursing Award in 1995 and was a member of 
Calvary Baptist Church.

 Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband, Jerry Bruce of 
Tifton; two sisters, Jo Ann (Nan) Muse and Peggy Byrd, both of Moultrie; two 
brothers, LeRoy Richter of Moultrie and John Richter of Vidalia.

 Funeral services were held June 26 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with 
Rev. Glenn Ford officiating.

 Interment was in Tift Memorial Gardens.

 Active pallbearers were Brian Byrd, Joseph Richter, Justin Richter, Andy 
Richter, Hank Cross, Joey Bruce.

 Honorary pallbearers were Candy Newell, Jeanie Dowling, Linda Rushing, and 
staff and nurses of Beverly Health Care.

 Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals was in charge of arrangements.
