Wanda Jane Willis Campbell 

PLANT CITY, Fla. — Wanda Jane Willis Campbell of Plant City, FL, passed away on 
July 10, 2007, following a lengthy illness. She was 58 years old. 

Mrs. Campbell was born in Tifton, GA, and lived all but the last three years of 
her life in Worth County. A devoted Christian and church worker, she was a 
member of Northside Baptist Church in Tifton, GA. A retired educator, she 
taught in Worth County Primary School, Deriso Elementary School, and briefly at 
Worth County High School. She did her practice teaching at Parker Elementary 
School, held a Master’s degree from Georgia Southwestern College, and did her 
undergraduate work at Valdosta State College (now University). 

Survivors include her husband, Earl Campbell Jr. of Plant City, FL; two sons, 
John Reese Campbell (Becky) of Buford, GA, and Adam Jason Campbell (Faye) of 
Valdosta; her father, Ralph Willis Sr.; two sisters, Paula W. Goddard (Carlton) 
of Kathleen, GA, and Marla W. Futrill (Jack) of Sumner; one brother, Ralph 
Willis Jr. (Barbara) of Sumner; two grandsons, Wayne Campbell and Jerry 
Campbell; and a number of nieces, nephews and great- nieces and great-nephews. 

Visitation was held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 12, 2007, at Wells Memorial 
Chapel in Plant City, FL. 

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on July 13, 2007, at Florida National 
Cemetery in Bushnell, FL, with her brother-in- law, Rev. Carlton Goddard, 
officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Breast Cancer 
Foundation, Attention: Sherrie, 1220-B East Joppa Rd., Suite 332, Baltimore, MD 
21286.
