Obituary  -

Mrs. J. L. Blakey Dies Here;  Rites Set Wednesday
  Mrs. James L. Blakey, 78, of 102 S. Ingleside Dr. died Monday at her home 
following an illness.  She lived in Albany for the last 25 years and was a 
member of Faith Temple Assembly of God.
  Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. P. O. Cone Jr., Mrs. A. D. Apperson 
and Mrs. P. J. McDonald, all of Albany, and Mrs. Walton T. Shiver, Sylvester; 
six sons, J. H. Blakey, G. M. Blakey and M. L. Blakey, all of Albany, C. R. 
Blakey, Jacksonville, Fla., and J. W. Blakey and R. L. Blakey, Tampa, Fla.; two 
sisters, Mrs. W. W. Sessions, Sumner, and Mrs. V. V. Knicely, Fort Lauderdale, 
Fla.; 43 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
  Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Faith Temple First 
Assembly of God on North  Central Avenue.  The Rev. Mrs. J. S. LeGrone and the 
Rev. H. E. Phillips will officiate.  Interment will follow in New Bethel 
Cemetery in Worth County.
  Pallbearers will be announced by Kimbrell-Stern, funeral directors.
