Born Oct. 19, 1929, in Bartow County to the late Lillie Mae Goddard, she was retired from Avondale Mills in Tifton and was a member of New River Free Holiness Church in Berrien County. She loved flowers and gardening, to sew and quilt, and cook for her family. She was married to the late Clarence Eugene Parks, who died in June 1983. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Bobbie Nell Webb, who died in February 2000. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Fennell E. and Marlenis Parks of West Berrien, Danny Lee and Kaye Parks, Carey Dean and Gwen Parks and James E. and Debra L. Parks, all of Brookfield; two brothers, G.W. Goddard of Fitzgerald and Edward Goddard of Tampa, FL, 14 grandchildren, 8 great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. March 6 in the chapel of Albritton- Beaumont Funeral Directors with Gerald Lee and the Rev. A.D. Connell officiating. Interment was in Tift Memorial Gardens, Justin Parks, Bobby Parks, James Parks, Donald Webb, Brian Webb, Fennell Parks served as pallbearers.
