- Interested in information about James Turner the father of David Turner
who served as ensign 1835-1838 and sheriff in 1846-1848. This was known as the
Chula Chula District in Tift county( according to Huxford "Pioneer's of
Wiregrass Georgia"James Turner was born in Tattnell County ABT 1785.Any
information on James Turner and his wife would be very much appreciated

Died in Tifton, Toliver died in Ashburn am trying to trace Toliver's
ancestors. thanks

- My mother was Katherine Register. Her parents were Leon Glen Register and
Estelle Mae "Smith" Register, Leon's parents were Benjamin Register and
"Grandma" Wealthy, Estelle's parents were Thomas Jefferson Smith and Millie
Belle "Huffastutler" Smith. Any help on this lineage would be of great help.

- Looking for information on Richard Mack Wilson, born 1894, died 4-7-1932.
Married to Mary L. Mullis in 1913 in Waycross, Ga. They lived in Tifton. He
was an electrician, also worked for Henry Tift, a banker in Tifton who had a
daughter that the college there was named after.

- I am Leon Monroe MCSWAIN, Jr.....My father was L.M.Sr He was born in Tift
County on 9SEP 03. My Grandfather was I. Monroe McSwain He was married to my
grandmother,Euni,OQuinn MCSWAIN around 1902 My grandfather was struck by
lightining,in front of his fireplace in his home, in August of 1904. According
to a news article from the Macon Telegraph he was a prominent, well liked and
up and coming young farmer. This is all the information I have ever been able
to glean. Would you please check marriage and death records around that time.
I am now nearing seventy-two (72) myself and I would like to know from whence
